IT’S NO SECRET THAT THE COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE (CRE)
INDUSTRY HAS A WAYS TO GO IN TERMS OF HOW IT OPERATES.
We’re talking about slow, siloed, and change-resistant ways of doing business that have been the norm for decades - well that’s all about to change. We’re in the age of AI, climate change, and the return to work debate. The “old ways of CRE” are being forced to be more innovative, efficient and inclusive, including the news. Whether you’re an industry veteran or new to CRE, this is the only podcast you will need. Tune in to hear two industry veterans deliver critical and up-to-date information in a whole new way, through informative, accessible, and dare we even say, funny conversations with developers, entrepreneurs, owners/occupiers, and other key players. The goal is to increase access and understanding to CRE and PropTech to a broad and diverse audience, representing the occupiers of the built environment as a whole. We’re on a mission to usher in the new era of CRE.

RYAN ELAZARI
As Head of Innovation for Empire Management, I have implemented new technologies such as AI, Automation, and Internet of Things across the portfolio. My ultimate goal is to contribute to the evolution of the industry by advancing socially responsible real estate practices, which I believe will depend greatly on technology advances in this space. I believe that in 20 years from now the greatest profit from the industry may come from technology rather than from the properties themselves. Throughout my career, I’ve gained deep experience with acquisition, zoning, rezoning, leasing, operations, and sustainability in the built environment.
In addition to my asset management experience and background as an investor, I teach a graduate-level Real Estate Entrepreneurship course at Baruch College, where I connect with world-class thought leaders to share their stories and insights. Opportunities like this and serving as President of NAIOP NYC have allowed me to connect with my real estate colleagues to play an active role in New York’s real estate community and across the nation.
I am also co-host of the CRE Unplugged podcast with Nadine Ezzie. The goal of the podcast is to increase access and understanding to Commercial Real Estate and PropTech to a broad and diverse audience, representing the occupiers of the built environment as a whole. I am very passionate about real estate technology and innovation and I want to make it my mission to usher in the new era of Commercial Real Estate.
